Two version numbers above should match. If not, you must do upgrade or you are using wrong version of IVA

2 - refresh courses catalog, fixing course thumbnail url

Steps: 0 - fix site
1 - Replace standard acl_users folder with PAS
2 - Delete local roles
3 - create groups
4 - assign users to groups, cleanup local roles. Delete junk
5 - refresh catalogs
6 - fix course context permissions

Upgrading IVA from version 1.3 to 1.4

Steps: 1 - registering components
2 - registering components
3 - deleting junk
4 - adding indexes
5 - reindexing catalog. Note: this has been divided in to small steps because this may take a long time. 6 - fix CourseContext permissions.
7 - fix portfolio permissions.
8 - fix subgroup permissions.

Upgrading IVA from version 1.1 to 1.3

Set correct permissions on user's events folder
Go to courses folder, select courses_zcatalog and click Edit button. Navigate to 'Advanced' tab and click 'Update Catalog' button
